Movano Health won Best of CES 2023 awards from 10 major media groups following the company’s Evie smart ring announcement. Movano developed the stylish, open-loop Evie smart ring for women. Movano applied for FDA clearance based on a successful blood oxygen saturation and heart rate data clinical study with the University of California. The Evie study reported the ring achieved better than the FDA’s approval thresholds for both blood oxygen saturation and heart rate measurements. Movano expects to receive FDA clearance early this year.

Modano’s concept for the Evie smart ring is a wearable that gives users personalized health and wellness insights on a mobile app based on clinical grade health data. Evie data includes resting heart rate, heart rate variability, SpO2, respiration rate, skin temperature variability, period and ovulation tracking, menstrual symptom tracking, activity profile, sleep stages and duration, and mood tracking. Movano designed the Evie app to present women with personalized actionable insights based on clinical grade biometric data. The goal is to help women understand and use their personal health data patterns to feel better, to make lifestyle changes as necessary, and to avoid or mitigate chronic disease.

Made of polished aluminum, the Edie ring comes in three finishes. Movano plans to ship the Evie smart ring March 2023 with a purchase price less than $300 and no subscription fee.
