Alfred Poor, PhD, is the founding Editor of Health Tech Insider, and is a technology speaker, writer, and analyst with an international reputation. Graduating with a Biology degree from Harvard, he went on to spend 30 years writing about a wide range of technology topics, including more than 22 years writing for PC Magazine and other major computing titles. Author or co-author of more than a dozen books, he continues to be fascinated by shiny, sparkly things that can make a difference for the better in people’s lives. He was interviewed as one of 35 thought leaders in “The Art of Healthcare Innovation: Interviews and Industry Insights from 35 Game-Changing Pioneers.”
Contributing Editor Bruce Brown has written about personal computers and technology since 1982. He is an award-winning former Contributing Editor for PC Magazine, PC Week, ExtremeTech, and PC Computing. In addition to writing for Health Tech Insider, Brown is also a Contributing Editor for Digital Trends. Brown was an adjunct member of the faculty at Wesleyan University where he taught graduate courses in business computer applications. At Saint Joseph College in Connecticut, Brown taught graduate courses in research, statistics, and experimental design: knowledge that comes in handy for Health Tech Insider when he reads health tech clinical studies and research reports.
