The international CES electronics show is still more than a month away, yet our coverage has already started with articles about some of this year’s Innovation Award winners.

CES continues to be one of the most important events for the health tech industry, especially for consumer-facing products and services. The show is scheduled to be back in person in Las Vegas this year, but due to continued uncertainty about COVID-19 and other factors (including the current vagaries of commercial air travel), I have decided that we will not be sending anyone onsite to attend this year’s event.

We still intend to provide as much coverage as possible, thanks for the many opportunities to attend virtually. Furthermore, I am inviting companies that are exhibiting at CES to contact me if they would like to schedule an online “booth visit” or briefing. I have set up a special scheduling system specifically for CES meetings, and welcome invitations to meet before, during, or immediately after the CES event itself.

Contact me at alfredpoor@healthtechinsider.com if you’d like to arrange a time for us to talk about your product. (Please keep in mind that Health Tech Insider provides curated news and original analysis about wearable and mobile technology for health and medical applications.)

For those of you headed to Las Vegas, best wishes for a successful show!
