The 6th annual mHealth Summit will be held near Washington, DC on December 7 through 11, 2014. The program encompasses a wide range of mobile Health Tech topics, including mobile, wireless, digital, wearable, telehealth, gaming, connected health, and consumer engagement. The program includes sessions on everything from cancer to Google Glass to building a sustainable business. The keynote speakers will be Harry Leider, the Chief Medical Officer for Walgreens, and Patrick Soon-Shiong, Chairman of NantWorks.

In addition to all this, there will be in-depth symposiums co-located with the summit. These will cover topics including Games for Health, the Intelligent Medical Home (IMH), and Privacy & Security. There will also be a two-day NIH mHealth Training Institute for behavioral and social scientists who are interesting in adding mobile Health Tech to their research. The conference also includes an extensive exhibit hall.

This looks to be an excellent opportunity for an immersive experience in mobile Health Tech, to hear the thoughts of many of the moves and shakers in the industry, and to network with individuals from healthcare, government agencies, and companies in related fields.
